Bright Futures offers full time classes in the CHC30708 Certificate III in Children's Services

This is the entry level qualification required to work as an assistant in a Child Care Centre in Queensland, and so this course is ideal for people wishing to obtain a job in childcare

Course Duration
Total course duration is 12 weeks at 4 days per week (Tuesday to Friday)

9 weeks - Class Attendance
3 weeks - Vocational Placement

Class Size
Maximum 14 students

Pre-requisites
There are no academic pre-requisites
Students must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English

Vocational Placement
Students must demonstrate practical skills competency
Students without significant and recent Child Care Centre employment experience will be required to complete an unpaid workplace Vocational Placement

Age Requirements
Minimum age for working in a Child Care Centre in Queensland is 17
