Recognition of Prior Learning
Recognition of Prior Learning refers to the acknowledgement of skills and knowledge as a result of formal training, work experience and/or life experience.
Recognition of Prior Learning is available to any student enrolling with Bright Futures Training College.
Students may request a RPL assessment when they apply to enrol in a course, or at any other time during their course of study.
If a student requests a RPL assessment, they will be required to provide information about their relevant experience and qualifications. This is done using a RPL Assessment Form.
A Bright Futures Training College trainer will then review the student's skills and knowledge to determine if any units of competency may be assessed using the RPL method.
